Is shipping my vehicle better than driving it?
While driving may seem more economical, vehicle shipping is often safer and more convenient, especially for long distances. Driving would add unwanted mileage and wear and tear to your vehicle. Not every road trip goes to plan either – if your car happens to break down, that’s a whole other setback, financially and time-wise!
Getting your car shipped is also an ecological choice. Our car carriers can fit up to 10 vehicles per load, significantly reducing fuel emissions.
What does VIN/Serial Number mean?
Your car’s VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) or serial number is a a unique code, comprised of numbers and letters, used to identify your vehicle (ex.2B3AGKEHAY1549835). It is found on your insurance papers, your vehicle’s registration and on your vehicle itself (typically located on the bottom left side of the windshield). Most VINs are 17 digits long, but may be shorter if your car or truck is an older model.
When transporting your car, the VIN is crucial as it allows us to ensure we have the correct vehicle.

please keep the following in mind
- Remove all personal belongings from inside the vehicle.
- Racks or large accessories attached to the vehicle will most likely have to be removed.
- Ensure that spare wheels, vehicle fluids, and tools stored inside the trunk are properly secured.
- Notify us if your vehicle has lifted or lowered suspension to confirm if transportation is possible.
- Place the vehicle registration inside the glove box. Using a photocopy of the registration is recommended.
- If possible, keep a quarter tank (¼) of fuel in your vehicle, especially in winter.
